What is ClubHub?

ClubHub is the new infrastructure for the music community of second life. We believe that our event system and grid-wide directory of music clubs and venues in Second Life will help connect, inform and promote all those involved within this community and beyond.

Our aims.

We will create, support, evaluate and improve upon the ClubHub infrastructure in order to meet needs. We will act honestly and in good faith and comply with Linden Labs policies on Community Standards, Trademark Guidelines and Terms of Service.

Our Policies and Terms of Service

We expect that customers and users of our services read, understand and agree to the following ClubHub Policies and Terms of service. In addition we expect that said customers and users comply with Linden Labs policies as outlined on:- http://secondlife.com/policy

GENERAL

1.1    ClubHub reserves the right to remove any information, club or individual from its service infrastructure which is in breach of the terms of Linden Labs policies or ClubHub policies.
1.2    ClubHub aims to deliver a continuous service but due to the nature of the systems on which we depend we cannot guarantee this. Although we will make reasonable endeavours to deal with any technical difficulties that we are able, this means no refund is applicable as a result of disruption of service.
1.3    As all our service provisions are linked, we require registration of a club before allowing access to our event system and advertising packages. Please see How to Register on http://clubhubhome.com/registration for more information.
1.4    We reserve the right to make changes to any or all of our service provisions at any time without prior notice. Although we will give prior notice where possible in order to ensure continuity of service.

CLUBHUB DIRECTORY

1.1 We do not assume responsibility for the uniqueness of any clubs name.

CLUBHUB SEAL

1.1    An active seal is required for listing in ClubHub. If the seal is inactive for longer than 6 weeks then any information pertaining to that club will be removed from ClubHub database. If you have credits remaining in your account, please read refund policy.
1.2    ClubHub seal remains the property of ClubHub. We reserve the right to recall, amend, update, extend or disable certain or all features at any time.

CLUBHUB EVENTS

1.1 We will keep a record of any event displayed on our event boards for a period of 6 months.

VERIFICATION POLICY

1.1    The ClubHub team aim to complete the verification process in 3 days after successful registration of a club.
1.2    The ClubHub team will refuse verification on the following basis:
1.2.1    If the ClubHub seal is not accessible to the general public inside the club venue.
1.2.2    If  the main focus of the Club is not the broadcasting of music (i.e. you are a shop)
1.2.3    If the club or club owner has been banned in the past.
1.2.4    If the information provided as part of registration is incorrect or incomplete.
1.3    Verification remains at ClubHub Teams discretion. Appeals will be considered, please refer to our Complaints/ Appeals Policy.

REFUND POLICY

1.1    No refunds are given in respect of any advertising package.
1.2    Listings on the event boards that have already started are not eligible for refunds.
1.3    Credits will be refunded if an event listing is cancelled before its start time.
1.4     Only the Club Account Holder may cash out credits.
1.5    The Club Account Holder may cash out the remaining credit balance on the account within 6 months of the most recent event. Thereafter any credit balance is reset.

Privacy

The information about your club and genre supplied to us is only used in the ClubHub sim for users to find you on the search terminals and to facilitate the event system. No information is given to 3rd parties.

COMPLAINTS & APPEALS POLICY

1.1    Customers and service users of ClubHub have the right to have their grievance dealt with in a fair, courteous and objective manner.
1.2     The ClubHub team also expect that any complaint thus presented to us is fair, courteous and objective.
1.3    As our records are kept for a 6 month period we are not able to investigate a complaint out with this period.
1.4    Please direct your complaint to a member of the ClubHub Team via a notecard in world or by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . You must include your contact details, club name and id, date and time of incident if applicable.
1.5    We aim to resolve your complaint within 7 working days.
1.6    If you wish to appeal against a decision regarding verification, please contact a member of the ClubHub Team via a notecard in world or by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Please provide your contact details, club name and id, plus reasons for appeal.
1.7    We aim to resolve your appeal within 7 working days.
